Applying is easy! Start by downloading the application. You will need to submit your shadow application (page 7) by December 19, 2011 if you would like to shadow at Fulmore this year. The rest of the application will need to be completed with a copy of the report card, copy of the latest TAKS or STAAR test scores, two teacher recommendation forms and the essay and submitted to the magnet office by Friday February 3, 2012. The packet can't be recieved until all the items are collected and the application is complete. This includes the teacher recommendations so please follow up and make sure those have been sent. One teacher can do both the recommendations but one has to be focused on student performance in math and science and the other has to focus on language arts and social studies. We can't wait to see your application so turn it in soon.
Applications are due NO LATER THAN Feb. 3rd to the Fulmore Magnet Office at 4:00pm
- Teachers should be reminded to send their recommendations directly to us at Fulmore.
- Include the application form all together with the other papers to send in.
- Insert December 2011 (this year's) copy of school report card.
- Include copy of last year's TAKS scores or standardized achievement test scores.
- Two teacher recommendation forms--Teachers complete these and send in.
- Student letter of interest ( 2-3 paragraph, 200 word minimum).
